Composite doors are increasingly becoming the preferred choice for exterior doors owing to the many advantages that they have over the more traditional wooden and steel doors that are used.

Composite doors can come in hundreds of combinations and colours, inside and out. This way you can make them match any existing coloured windows you may have.

Composite doors are designed so that they are weighted to match the weight of traditional wooden doors and will not warp, buckle or bow when reacting to weather changes. Wooden doors require regular maintenance against the weather and rot and warping therefore composite doors provide a much less troublesome solution.

The doors can be offered in different thicknesses, some offering double rebating which is good against harsh weather. You can even add triple glazing instead of the usual double glazing to ensure warmth and quiet whilst keeping out external noise and draughts.

These doors are very energy efficient as they are lightweight but still strong, allowing them to be hardwearing and stable in all conditions.

Composite doors offer much better security as they feature multi-point locking systems and the unit is sealed by mental brackets which prevents any glass from being removed on the exterior side.

Giving the same impression as that of a solid timber door, composite doors are very robust being made from fibreglass materials with steel reinforcements and a high density polyurethane core.

As said before these doors are made to measure and we use uPVC trims around the door frame to ensure no gaps and giving you a much neater finish.
